Next, I continue working on the architrave.

 

Here, to stabilize the frames and to obtain a larger gluing surface, small strips of wood (called hoops or lining strips) are bent in the same way as the frames and inserted into the corner blocks.

 

 

 

They are then glued in with the staples.

After drying, the strips are trimmed and rounded.
