Half-time at the Munich Violin Days

Seit dem 9.5. 2019 läuft die Veranstaltung, erstmals im Bayerischen Nationalmuseum

The event has been running since May 9, 2019, for the first time at the Bavarian National Museum
So far, many instruments from the exhibition have been presented in concerts by the Goldmund Quartet, Maximilian Hornung and the Violinissimo youth chamber orchestra.

During the museum’s opening hours (Tue-Sun 10.00-17.00, admission €6), anyone interested can come and play, try out and compare all 28 violins, 18 violas and 16 cellos, as well as their bows.
This is a unique opportunity to get an overview of the work of Munich’s violin makers and bow makers.
The exhibition runs until Sunday, May 26, 2019.
The next highlight is the concert with Sarah Christian, tomorrow Sunday, 19.05.19 at 11.00 am.
Remaining tickets are available from 10.00 am at the box office.
All other events, concerts and lectures can be found under Münchner Geigentage.
