How can you change the sound of a violin?

There are many adjusting screws that you can turn to change the sound of a violin

even without interfering with the substance of the instrument, e.g.
-Change stringing
-Change sound post position
-Change the handle string: in terms of length and/or material
-Change tailpiece: material
-Changes to the jetty
What makes sense for your instrument depends on what exactly you want to change about the sound. Therefore, the first step is to be clear about what you don’t like about your instrument and what you like.
In a discussion with your violin maker you can then decide which measures make sense for you and where you should start.
